Blog関連としては最大のニュースかもしれない。
Dan Gillmor's eJournalによるとGoogleがBloggerの運営会社である Pyra Labsを買収した。

かねてから盛り上がっているBlog関連を大手企業が狙っているだろうとは思っていたが、Googleが買収するとは。
Blogというシステムは素晴らしいが、この分野で利益を出していくとなるとビジネスの展開はどうなのだろう。企業だから利益を求めるのだろうし。
しかし他の企業でなく信頼のあるGoogleということで少し安心したかも。Googleの検索技術は最高だが、これをうまくBloggerのシステムと融合していくと記事をポストして数分後にはもうGoogleで検索できるようになるだろうとの事。
これはいいことだろう。

Bloggerだけとはいわずに他のBlogサイトもすぐに検索データベースに入れるようにしてくれるとありがたい。
