Blogrolling.comがTucowsに買収されました

いつもお世話になっているウェブログの更新通知サイトであるBlogrolling.comがTucowsに買収されました。
I'm writing this today to let you all know that Blogrolling has been acquired by the great folks at Tucows and this will be my last news posting. I will be sticking around behind the scenes for a few months helping the new team get their bearings and finishing up some fixes that I've been promising for the past few weeks. But after today I will no longer be the owner of Blogrolling.com.
有料のサービスでは複数の更新リストが利用できたりするので有料で利用している人も多いでしょう。きっちりと有料化をしているので買収のターゲットになったのかもしれないですね。広告だけのビジネスモデルより有料でも利用したいと思うサービスってそんなにないですから。ただ、サービスの提供者や責任者が変わると不具合が出ることもあるので続けてサービスを利用する人もとりあえずバックアップ用にOPMLファイルを取得しておく方がいいでしょう。
