Google Mapを利用したシカゴの犯罪マップ

Google Mapを取り入れたものは最近いろいろ出てきていますが、メディア・パブで紹介されていたChicago crime mapというのはすごい。名前からしてすごいが、シカゴの犯罪が起きた場所を表示している地図です。しかもサテライトとかにも切り替えられたりします。すごすぎる。
例えば上のスクリーンショットをクリックしても出ますが、Crimes reported in the midnight hour on May 10, 2005だと2005年の5月10日の午前0時の犯罪地図だったりします。すごすぎる。
まあ、こんな地図がいらないような国のほうがいいのは間違いありませんが、今危ない場所はどこかなんてのがわかると自分の身を守ることはできるのかも。
