Going My Way

USBドライブから起動可能な Firefox Portable 2.0 、Thunderbird Portable 1.5.8 、OpenOffice.org Portable 2.0.4

PortableApps.com から提供されているUSBドライブなどで起動可能なポータブルアプリケーションに Firefox Portable 2.0 、OpenOffice.org Portable 2.0.4 (参照 Portable OpenOffice.orgを日本語化する方法)、Thunderbird Portable が利用可能になりました。

これにあわせて同じようにUSBドライブから起動できるアプリケーションをパックにした PortableApps Suite も用意されました。
Standard Edition と LiteEdition があり Lite Edition　には、 OpenOffice.org Portable (office suite) の代わりに - AbiWord Portable (word processor) が用意されています。

オフィスソフトとして人気の OpenOffice.org Portable

別途用意されている Portable Apps Suite (Base Edition) を使うとアプリケーションの管理などに便利そうです。各アプリケーションを PortableApps というディレクトリー以下に入れておくとアプリケーションが登録されます。
